MANILA – Singer Janno Gibbs had his fans wondering if he will soon transfer to the Kapamilya network after he appeared on “ASAP” on Sunday.
Gibbs was on the ABS-CBN variety show for a song number with his daughter Alyssa in celebration of the Father’s Day.
As part of the show’s LSS segment, Gibbs and Alyssa performed “I Believe in Dreams.”
In October last year, Gibbs fueled rumors of his supposed network transfer when he made an appearance at the anniversary concert of the ABS-CBN primetime series "Ang Probinsyano."
At that time, Gibbs was spotted backstage with some of the show's stars such as child actor Onyok Pineda, as well as other singers Daryl Ong and "The Voice of the Philippines" grand champion Jason Dy.
He was also photographed with Ogie Alcasid, who was then about to transfer to ABS-CBN.
In an exclusive interview with Push at that time, Gibbs downplayed suggestions that he’s leaving TV5 and maintained that he was still under contract.
Gibbs said he was only invited to the “Ang Probinsyano” concert as he is known to be a fan of the show.
