MANILA -- Two young artists who dedicated their performance to their grandfathers both got a slot in the next round of "The Voice Teens."
Patricia Luna and Queenie Ugdiman, who are both from Bamboo's team, earned praises for their performance of Simon and Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence."
"I liked the pasok ni Queenie, quiet na quiet, so sabi ko naku, baka may ilalabas pa 'to. Tapos pagdating ng part ni Patricia, sabi ko wow, ang sarap," Sharon Cuneta told the two contestants.
"That was haunting. Parang mga anghel lang na parang bumubulong sa tenga," Lea Salonga added.
Bamboo eventually chose to bring Ugdiman to the next round as part of his team.
Luna, on the other hand, was given another chance, this time as part of Salonga's team.
Hosted by Luis Manzano and Toni Gonzaga, "The Voice Teens" airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and Sundays after "Goin' Bulilit."
