MANILA – Monday's episode of “Pinoy Big Brother” became the most-talked about topic on the social networking site Twitter in the Philippines after the housemates were seen confronting Jane Oineza and Joshua Garcia about their growing closeness inside the house.

Since it aired on Monday, the hashtag “PBBAnoBaTalaga” has been the top trending topic in the Philippines with netizens sharing their respective opinions about the recent happenings in the reality show.

The episode opened with the female housemates talking about Oineza and Garcia, who were seen holding hands during the live telecast last Saturday.

They also agreed that two housemates have become too close and demonstrative these past few days despite their warning that this might send the wrong impression to young viewers.

Oineza, however, was shown asking fellow housemate Jayme Jalandoni if their other housemates have a problem with her and Garcia.

Parang may something more to that. Hindi naman sa lahat ng panahon, or hindi naman sa lahat ng tao okay siya.”

Michele Gumabao then entered the room and confronted Oineza.

“As an ate, hindi na ako natutuwa. Seryoso, may something o wala?” she asked Oineza.

The young actress, however, quickly replied that her closeness to Joshua means nothing more to her but friendship.

“Promise, I cross my heart. AKo wala, sure na sure na sure. Unang una, how old am I? Pangalawa, what would my mom say? Pangatlo, I don’t want. Pang-apat, mataas ang standards ko. Panglima, may hinahanap pa akong iba. Five reasons,” she said.

Gumabao later on advised Oineza to not show anything to Garcia that may be misinterpreted.

But while the older housemates have already settled their issues with Oineza, the younger ones, especially Nichola Baranda, still seemed disappointeded.

Joshua to voluntarily exit?

Meanwhile, the episode also showed a bothered Garcia who is mulling to voluntarily exit from the competition.

“Gusto kong mag-VE. Siguro 'yung pressure na rin sa lahat ng bagay dito sa bahay, 'yung sa amin ni Jane. Baka maapektuhan 'yung araw ko kapag may hindi pumapansin sa akin or may nag-iiba ng tingin,” he told fellow housemate Vickie Rushton.

Garcia said Oineza has been avoiding him and he is afraid this might affect his relationship with the other housemates.

Later in the episode, Gumabao was also seen confronting Garcia about Oineza. “Meron ba siya pinakita ever sayo na napaisip ka kung friends lang kayo?” the volleyball player asked.

He replied: “Meron siyempre. Ako din alam ko, meron akong naipakita sa kanya na ganun.”

Garcia and Oineza then decided to talk and resolve their problem.

Although they agreed to follow the older housemates’ advice, Garcia told Oineza that it will be hard for him.

“Ang hirap nito grabe. Siguro sa 'yo okay lang kasi wala naman sa 'yo lahat,” he said.
