Kris Aquino all set for 'Feng Shui' sequel
MANILA – It seems it's all systems go for the sequel of Kris Aquino's hit 2004 horror film "Feng Shui."
In her Instagram account on Monday, Aquino posted a picture of the script of the upcoming movie, which will be her entry to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
“My bedside reading: the script of FENG SHUI 2... 10 years after the 1st movie, it's time to continue the story & end the curse... I've missed you Lotus Feet,” Aquino said in the caption.
Last month, Aquino announced on her ABS-CBN morning show "Kris TV" that she will be working with Coco Martin in the horror movie.
"Feng Shui" was the first in a series of horror hits that Aquino did for Star Cinema, earning her the tag "Box-office Horror Queen."
In the original movie, which earned more than P130 million at the box office when it was released, she played a wife who must save her family from a curse brought about by a "bagwa."
Aquino also starred in the horror movies "Sukob" and "Segunda Mano."
