MANILA – Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona are definitely getting closer.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Salvador shared that Magalona was with her whole family in Malaysia just recently for a short vacation.

“We went to Legoland. Sinama ng mom ko si Elmo. Masaya naman. Nag-enjoy 'yung little brother ko super kasi birthday niya. We spent the day together,” she said.

Magalona, for his part, said he had so much fun because it was his first time in Malaysia. He is also grateful that he was invited by the actress’ family in one of their trips abroad.

“They consider me to be one of the people that they want to bring to their family’s outing. It’s nice because we weren’t really thinking of work. It was solely vacation lang. It was really fun. I was really happy na kasama ako,” he said.

When asked if this means their friendship has leveled up, Magalona quickly said: “We are not rushing naman. Masaya lang ako na we get to work pa din together. After ‘Born For You,’ we still have projects together. Masaya ako na we are getting closer pa lalo.”

Refusing to label their relationship, Salvador quipped: “We are enjoying each other’s company.”

Meanwhile, Salvador had Magalona worried on Tuesday when she told him that she bumped her head in a metal harness while filming “Bloody Crayons.”

While the doctors said Salvador doesn’t have anything to worry about, Magalona quipped: “Kung may shooting lang ako kahapon, kiniss ko na lang para mawala na 'yung sakit.”

“Gusto ko nga pumunta sa set agad para lang makita. Siya mismo ang nagsabi sa akin na may nangyari sa eksena nila. Akala ko nung una, makeup siya. Kasi ‘di ba nowadays, yung makeup, mukhang totoo na. Noong pinakita niya, akala ko makeup. 'Yun pala, it was really an injury talaga na nangyari sa eksena. I was really worried. Konti na lang pupunta na ako sa set talaga,” he added.

Salvador, however, insisted that it was only a very minor accident and she wasn’t hurt.

“Hindi ko nga napansin na may bukol ako until they told me. They brought me to the hospital to have a check-up. Okay lang naman daw. Nothing serious,” she said.

Aside from “Bloody Crayons,” Salvador and Magalona also have another movie under Regal Films and an upcoming television series with ABS-CBN.
