MANILA -- Celebrity couple Jason Francisco and Melai Cantiveros dropped by "The Buzz" with their two-month old baby, Mela, on Sunday, Fathers' Day.
The former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemates have just returned to Manila from General Santos City where they stayed before and after Cantiveros gave birth.
Cantiveros candidly talked about her experience giving birth in an interview with host Toni Gonzaga.
"Three days ang labor ko... Malapit na ako mamatay," she recalled, as she warned Gonzaga: "Ang hirap manganak! Magdasal ka na nang madami."
Meanwhile, Cantiveros was all praises for her husband in his role as a new dad.
Francisco, also impressed Cantivero's parents by being a hands-on dad to Baby Mela, giving her a bath and changing her diapers.
"Sobra siyang responsible hands-on siya talaga," she said.
Asked for her Fathers' Day message to her husband, Cantiveros said: "Thank you, Ga, for always being there for us kahit maldita ako lagi kang nandiyan."
On Jason's 'other woman'
Francisco also addressed rumors spreading online that he was once seen with another woman in Pangasinan.
A few weeks ago, "Kris TV" writer Darla Sauler said he received tweets from netizens who claimed to have spotted Francisco in Pangsainan with his "other woman."
According to Sauler, the incident happened after a "Kris TV" shoot at Cantivero's house in General Santos City.
But Fransisco explained that the girl being referred to by some reports is his cousin.
"Dumating 'yung pinsan ko galing Kuwait. Tapos ako 'yung parang nag-entertain sa kanya," he said.
"First cousin niya 'yun," Cantiveros added. "Hindi lang nila alam, haling na haling ito sa akin."
In an earlier interview with Sauler, Cantiveros explained that Francisco and his cousin were really close since childhood.
"Si Ate Dianne [Morelta] 'yun, 'yung hinatid niya sa Pangasinan. Super close sila magpipinsan kaya baka marami nag-misunderstood. At every now and then naman nagt-etext ang asawa ko kaya panatag na legal wife ako. Char lang, walang sa kanila madam. Akin lang ang asawa ko char char lang," she said.
