MANILA - "Silence is better than BS."

This is how Kris Aquino defended her brother after Sen. Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. challenged President Benigno Aquino III to do better at his job.

Revilla, who is now facing plunder raps after being linked to the pork barrel scam, said the President still has two years left to curb poverty and address the crime rate.

He pointed out Aquino should not be proud if his only achievement is to jail his oppositors.

"I want to respect what the family is going through but I also have to respect my family and my brother and to this day 72% of the Philippines, of the Filipino citizens. say that he enjoys the trust and the support of the people. So let it be that, hindi ba?" Kris commented in her show "Aquino & Abunda Tonight."

"This is not an issue about PNoy and his presidency. This is an issue about pork barrel na thank God walang kinalaman si Noy doon. Malinis ang konsensiya ng kapatid ko kaya malakas ang loob niya na isulong ang paglilinis ng gobyerno," she said.

"Nabigyan siya (Revilla) ng all that time, so karapatan din naman na sabihin ko na ako ay bilib sa kapatid ko at pakiramdam ko na majority ng Pilipinas still agree with me. At 'yung two years na paulit ulit, well, it's still two years. Sorry," Kris added.

Aside from Revilla, Senators Juan Ponce Enrile and Jinggoy Estrada were also slapped with plunder raps.

"That's why parang ano ...I love Jinggoy kasi hindi ba sinabi ko nga sa iyo na 'silence is better than BS,'" Kris said.
