Actress-host Toni Gonzaga
MANILA -- Actress-host Toni Gonzaga on Tuesday reacted on the latest controversy involving her show "Pinoy Big Brother: ALL IN."
This was after the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) summoned the Kapamilya network in relation to the "nude painting challenge" on the hit reality series.
The MTRCB said it was "alarmed over alleged gender-insensitivity" in the challenge.
"Everything naman na ginagawa sa 'PBB' under the supervision of Endemol, the one in charge sa 'Big Brother' franchise.
Everything is just really to test a person's principle and values na kinalakihan," explained Gonzaga, who has been with the reality show for several seasons now.
"I think sanay na kami. Wala akong major reaction. Ganoon talaga," she added.
Asked if she believes the show went overboard with the challenge, Gonzaga replied: "Ako kasi feeling ko there are people who can do those things, who can shed clothes for the arts.
Bong Osorio, ABS-CBN spokesperson, earlier confirmed the company will cooperate with the MTRCB.
"We have received the invitation from MTRCB. We will cooperate and attend the conference on June 11," Osorio said.
