MANILA, Philippines – Jinkee Pacquiao, wife of Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao, said she is okay with her husband’s loss to undefeated American boxer Timothy Bradley Jr.

In an interview with “The Buzz” on Sunday, Jinkee said she and Pacquiao know that everything that happened was God’s will.

Jinkee, however, revealed that she cried after her children said that they still consider their dad the winner.

“Nung una hindi sila worried kasi alam nila na panalo talaga si Manny. Actually 'yung anak ko si Michael sabi niya, ‘It’s okay mommy, he’s still the winner.’ Doon ako mas naiyak sa sinabi niya sa akin. Alam nila pero wala tayong magagawa sa decision,” she said.

Jinkee said their family prayed together inside Pacquiao’s locker room after the match.

Meanwhile, Pacquiao revealed his family will not return to the Philippines just yet after his controversial loss with Bradley.

“Nag-request ang mga bata at si Jinkee na magpunta sa Europe at sa Israel. Sasama ako,” he said.

While he lost against Bradley in their world WBO welterweight clash, Pacquiao said he is still grateful because he has God and that he was not hurt.

Bradley won via a controversial split decision 113-115, 115-113, and 115-113.
