MANILA - Aina Solano, the "Dancing Bombshell ng Boracay," was the fifth housemate to be ousted from the "Pinoy Big Brother" (PBB) house during the the show's live eviction night on Saturday.
Solano, who was nominated through standard voting, received 8 votes from her fellow housemates, with majority noting her tendency to be inconsiderate towards the teen contestants.
On Friday's episode of the reality show, Solano earned the ire of fellow contestant and early favorite Fourth Solomon, who pointed out her condescending tone when handing out orders.
According to Solomon, it's about time that someone stood for the teen housemates, who had been scolded by Solano for not exerting enough effort in doing household chores.
In her defense, Solano said it was just the way she speaks, noting that she grew up in Switzerland and that she is still getting used to Filipino language.
Fellow nominated housemate, Ranty Fortento, the 26-year-old seaman from the province of Quezon, was deemed safe for the night.
"I'm happy because it has been weeks. I mean, this week po kasi I've been praying na maka-stay po si Ranty at ako ang aalis," an emotional Solano told "Kuya."
"I was ready nga po para tanungin na lang sa iyo na ako na mag-desisyon na aalis na ako kasi po 'yung sinakripisyo po ni Ranty 'yung pangarap niya para kay Joshua. He showed me how great he is and how big his heart is," she said.
Solano was referring to a touching gesture from Fortento when he allowed Joshua Garcia, one of the younger housemates, to finish the surprise challenge. It removed Garcia from the list of nominated housemates for the week.
"Maraming maraming salamat po, Kuya, for giving me the chance to be one of the housemates po. This is one of the greatest experience of my life po," she said.
