Sandara Park: 'I'm still the same person you used to know'
MANILA, Philippines - When young pop teen idol Sandara Park and her band 2ne1 rocked the house at their concert at the Araneta Coliseum last Saturday, fans went crazy.
Park, the Korean girl who joined ABS-CBN's reality search, "Star Circle Quest", and who did numerous TV shows and movies in the country, is now a popular performer in Korea.
"Isa sa pinakamalaking dream ko na mag-perform sa Araneta Coliseum," the pop teen idol said at the concert.
Park told Korina Sanchez, anchor of "TV Patrol", that she is happy with her life now in Korea although she still misses the Philippines. She also admitted that she secretly visited the country twice for a vacation.
It was in 2007 when Park suddenly disappeared from the local showbiz scene and flew back to Korea.
She told Sanchez, though, that she still knows how to speak Tagalog. "Magaling po," she said.
Park also said she doesn't have a boyfriend yet and never had one since she went back to Korea.
She's still the same Sandara Park Filipinos used to know, she said.
"Siguro nag-mature na ako. Kung dati 'Krung Krung' ako, ngayon 'krung krung' pa din pero mas nag-mature na," Park said.
Park asked her Pinoy fans to continue supporting her and her band 2ne1.
