MANILA, Philippines -- King of Comedy Dolphy has expressed his desire to travel abroad for a vacation, according to his long-time partner Zsa Zsa Padilla.
The singer-actress made the revelation in an interview on the set of her upcoming film "I Doo Bidoo, Bi Doo."
"Actually gusto niyang mag-abroad. Talagang gustong-gusto niyang mag-abroad kung mapapayagan siya ng doktor niya. Pero ngayon kasi ang panahon ay magulo, iinit, uulan, aaraw. Madaling magkasakit eh," Padilla said.
The singer also said Quizon is currently undergoing physical therapy (PT).
"Nagbalik na siya sa PT so marami siyang bisita ngayon, check up, so makikita na naman siya sa ospital," she said.
Despite the challenges brought about by Dolphy's health, Padilla said she salutes the veteran comedian for being so brave.
"You know it hasn't been easy for him. He's been fighting for his life for couple of years now. Bilib ako sa kanya hindi siya nagrereklamo, mabait siyang pasyente," she said.
Padilla also reacted on a recent online report saying Dolphy had passed away.
"Minsan sabi ko, 'Ano ba 'yan? Kapag nakikita ba tayo sa ospital, nagpunta ako sa ospital ng week na 'yon, kinabukasan yon na, pumunta ako sa ospital pero may iba akong dinalaw" Padilla said.
Padilla admitted they also get hurt when people speculate about the comedian's condition but they also believe that most of the people are just concerned about Dolphy's health.
"Pero marami pa din talagang concerned at nagtatanong. Hindi naman pwedeng i-address ng i-address ko ang ganoon hindi ba," Padilla explained.
Padilla and her family celebrated her birthday last May 28.
Asked of her birthday wish, Padilla replied:"Good health lang kasi I was feeling sick since Saturday. So I think it's time to ask for good health for me also so I can take care of them also."
