MANILA - Hundreds of screaming fans greeted Coco Martin and Sarah Geronimo at the the red-carpet premiere of their first big-screen team-up "Maybe This Time" on Tuesday night.
Geronimo, who wore a pink ruffled dress, walked alongside her leading man as they slowly made their way to the stage at the cinema lobby of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
"Sana po magustuhan niyo ang pelikulang ginawa namin," Geronimo said. "Kung ano man po ang mapapanood niyo ngayong gabi, sana po ay maibigan ninyo at sana po ipagkalat niyo sa lahat ng mahal niyo sa buhay para sana mapanood din nila."
Martin echoed his onscreen partner's statement and thanked their fans for their unwavering support.
"Ngayon pa lang po sobra na kaming nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng pumunta dito," he said. "Salamat sa lahat ng pagmamahal at pagsuportang ibinibigay niyo sa amin. Thank you so much po. Mahal na mahal po namin kayo."
The pair arrived with their co-stars Ruffa Gutierrez, Ogie Diaz, and Dennis Padilla, among others.
Among the celebrities seen at the premiere were Senator Sonny Angara, "Pinoy Big Brother" host Robi Domingo, actor Joseph Marco, actress Julia Montes, singer Angeline Quinto, and talent manager Annabelle Rama.
Directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng and produced by Star Cinema, "Maybe This Time" will hit cinemas nationwide on Wednesday.
