Anne returns to place where she got jellyfish sting
MANILA - Kapamilya star Anne Curtis faced her fears on Tuesday as she returned to the place where she was stung by a box jellyfish.
Curtis was rushed to a hospital last month after being stung by a box jellyfish while taping for her series, "Dyesebel," where she plays the titular role of the iconic Filipino mermaid.
On Instagram, Curtis posted photos of products that help prevent jellyfish stings.
It had the caption: "Getting back into the ocean water where I got stung by the box jellyfish for the first time today. A little nervous, but this time, I come prepared! Thank you @markednicdao @ranvelrufino @banxlorenzo for these. It might not go a long way against something so deadly and poinsonous but hey, it's better than nothing. Eeeeep. I can do this!!! Time to get over that fear. I love the ocean too much."
Curtis earlier said that she considers herself lucky that her jellyfish sting was not fatal.
"This summer, be careful when swimming in the ocean. Keep an eye out,” she told her fans.
