MANILA – Maja Salvador said she has nothing against Angel Locsin even if she got hurt in a recent episode of "The Legal Wife" where she had a physical confrontation with the actress.
In an interview with "The Buzz" which was aired on Sunday, Salvador said she and Locsin are both professionals and the confrontation scene was just part of their job.
"Hindi maiiwasan na minsan madadala ka sa emosyon. Wala namang personalan. Parehas naman kami ni Angel na mahal namin yung trabaho," she said.
Last week, Matet De Leon revealed Salvador was bruised after the hair-pulling scene aired last Wednesday.
"May pasa si Maja dito (points behind ear) at saka sa batok. Namamaga," said de Leon, who plays Rowena in the top-rating series.
In the May 21 episode of "The Legal Wife," an enraged Monica (Locsin) attacks Nicole (Salvador) after finding out that she recently saw her husband, Adrian (Jericho Rosales).
The violent scene has Monica holding Nicole by her hair and hitting her several times. Monica is only pacified when Nicole makes a panicked confession that she is pregnant with Adrian's child.
According to Salvador, she and Locsin immediately hugged each other after taping the scene.
"Grabe yung yakapan namin sa isa't isa tapos si Angel, sorry nang sorry," she said.
"The Legal Wife," which is under the direction of Rory Quintos and Dado Lumibao, airs weeknights after "Ikaw Lamang" during ABS-CBN's primetime block.
