Star Magic to mark 21st year on 'ASAP'

MANILA, Philippines --  ABS-CBN's talent management arm,  Star Magic, is set to celebrate its 21st anniversary on the musical variety show "ASAP" this Sunday.

Opening the show are Star Magic’s finest singers Jed Madela, Erik Santos, Angeline Quinto, Zia Quizon, Jovit Baldivino, Marcelito Pomoy, KZ Tandingan, Bugoy Drilon, Liezel Garcia, Richard Poon and Vina Morales with the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra.

Several Star Magic Talents including John Lloyd Cruz, Angelica Panganiban, Coco Martin, Bea Alonzo, Diether Ocampo, Shaina Magdayao, Enrique Gil, Julia Montes, Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Sam Milby, Pokwang, Erich Gonzales, Maja Salvador, Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu, Jodi Sta. Maria and Piolo Pascual, on the other hand, will lead the parade of stars in their fashionable pastel outfits.

The show will also air Star Magic’s six-minute video in collaboration with Star Cinema, paying homage to classic scenes and lines from movies such as “Bata, Bata, Paano Ka Ginawa,” “Anak,” “Milan,” “Don’t Give Up On Us,” “One More Chance,” “Paano Na Kaya,” “One More Try,” “The Mistress,” and “It Takes A Man and A Woman.”

Also set to be held on "ASAP" are the back-to-back birthday celebration of "Be Careful with My Heart" star Richard Yap and singer Zsa Zsa Padilla.

The musical variety show will also see the launch of ABS-CBN's newest series "Annaliza," which will star Andrea Brillantes, Patrick Garcia, Kaye Abad, Carlo Aquino, Denise Laurel and Zanjoe Marudo.

"ASAP" airs every Sunday at 12:15 p.m.
