MANILA- Following the success of "Frozen" and the recent spike in popularity of the superhero genre, Disney has released the first official trailer for its next animated film, "Big Hero 6."
Based on a Marvel comic book of the same name, the movie focuses on 14-year-old prodigy Hiro Hamada and his sidekick robot named Baymax, who lives in the futuristic city of San Fransokyo.
After finding themselves embroiled in the city's criminal activity, the duo teams up with other superheroes--Go Go Tamago, Wasabi, Honey Lemon, Fred--to save the day.
The 90-second trailer, however, focuses on the friendship of the two lead characters and shows Hamada struggling to fit his sidekick into a red high-tech body armor.
Directed by Don Hall ("Winnie the Pooh") and Chris Williams ("Bolt"), "Big Hero 6" is set to debut in cinemas on November 7.
