After taking up the cudgels for sexy actress Katrina Halili and her sex videos with Dr. Hayden Kho, it was Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr.'s turn to explain his nude photo with local actress Assunta de Rossi which is also circulating on the Internet.

In a statement sent to ABS-CBN, Revilla's camp said that the photo was taken way back in 2002 when he was not yet in politics.

They said the photo was used for the film "Kilabot at Kembot."

Revilla's camp made the statement after ABS-CBN News received a copy of the nude photo. The photo has reportedly already been uploaded on blog sites.

"I know for a fact na mayroon ng mga kampong naninira sa akin dahil sa pakikipag-laban kong ito. They have hired PR groups to divert the issue and destroy me but I will not falter," he said.
Revilla said the camp of cosmetic surgeon Dr. Hayden Kho is allegedly behind the "demolition job" against him.

In a privilege speech early this week, Revilla condemned the sex videos of actress Katrina Halili and cosmetic surgeon Dr. Hayden Kho which circulated on the Internet.

Revilla also called for the filing of criminal cases against Kho and the revocation of Kho's medical license.

Last Wednesday,  Halili sought the help of  the senator to seek justice against  Kho.

No consent

Meanwhile, Kho broke his silence late Thursday by saying he "deplores" the distribution of his sex videos, which was done without his consent. He also announced that he had suspended his practice of medicine.

In a statement, Kho said he initially hesitated to respond to the controversy but was prompted to make one after generating "so many versions, speculations and interpretations."

Kho said that the filming of the acts were "truly regrettable," and that he "sincerely" apologizes for the harm it has done to other parties.

"I must emphasize that there was no malice on my part, or intention to hurt anyone with these recordings," Kho said.

"I deplore the fact that without my knowledge and consent, these recordings were uploaded on the Internet, downloaded, reproduced in optical media form, distributed and sold to the public," he said.

Suspends practice

He has also decided to suspend his practice, saying he is owning up to his responsibility as a professional.

"This incident has had a mental and emotional effect on my being - as well as, I am sure - on those who find themselves as victims of this episode," he said.

"I recognize that the root cause of this deserves deeper internal analysis, therefore, I have been undergoing professional counseling since December," he added.

Kho also said that he has requested Atty. Lorna Kapunan to be his legal counsel, and will speak on his behalf for the time being.

"At this stage, I realize I cannot expect understanding and forgiveness. I can only pray that this comes in due time," he said.
On Thursday, the National Bureau of Investigation subpoenaed Kho and two other doctors, including his former sweetheart Dr. Vicki Belo, with regard to its investigation on the alleged sex video involving him and Halili.
