MANILA – Coco Martin finally broke his silence on rumors that Nora Aunor owes him a huge sum after he allegedly paid for her condominium dues.

In an exclusive interview with Boy Abunda which aired on Sunday's episode of "The Buzz," Martin said the veteran actress does not owe him anything.

“Ang sakit. Kilala niyo ba 'yung taong sinasabihan niyo ng ganun? Kasi hindi maganda eh,” said the actor, who is starring with Aunor in the upcoming movie "Padre de Pamilya" for director Adolf Alix Jr.

According to Martin, he learned about the rumors from his manager, who told him about it just weeks ago.

“Napakaganda po ng samahan namin. Hanggang sa natapos ang pelikula, nagtatawagan pa kami," he narrated. "Mga three weeks ago or four weeks ago, tumawag sa akin yung manager ko na may issue nga daw with Ate Guy.”

When he found out about it, Martin said he immediately reached out to the actress to apologize.

Martin stressed that he would never spread lies about Aunor.

In her past interviews with ABS-CBN News, Aunor shared that among the things she learned from Martin when they were shooting “Padre de Pamilya” is the actor's financial habits.

"'Yun ang dapat kong tularan, nag-iipon. Dapat mag-ipon," she said.
