MANILA - Singer-host Billy Crawford couldn't hold back his tears in front of his parents, whom he confessed he hasn't been able to see for a while, on an episode of "It's Showtime" on Saturday.
In what was a solemn moment after his energetic birthday number, Crawford recalled those moments that he wasn't able to take care of his father -- Jack Crawford -- because of his career in show business.
It's time to give back," he added.
Crawford, however, said his parents have been very understanding of his situation and promised that he will always be there for the both of them.
"I owe everything to those people right there. My whole entire life is for you guys and I hope you'll be here another two hundred years. I love you," he said.
For their part, his mother said: "Billy, kami ng daddy mo, nagpapasalamat dahil hindi ka nagbago. Happy Birthday, Bill!"
