Actor John Estrada said that his current sweetheart, Miss Earth 2004 Priscilla Meirelles is "wife material." He said that as a man he sees himself marrying Meirelles in the future.
"Yes she is, she is," Estrada said during a press conference for his upcoming movie "Caregiver" with Sharon Cuneta.
"She is very simple sabi ko nga walang offense sa ibang Pinay but I think mas Pilipina siya sa ibang nakilala kong Pinay. She cooks she is a very simple person walang arte sa katawan, napaka-simpleng tao," the actor added.
Meirelles is a 24-year-old Brazilian beauty who is now in abroad to visit her parents.
Estrada said that like other Filipinas, Meirelles is a very caring person.
"Sometimes kapag doon siya natutulog sa condo ko, she takes care of my things and all of that, okay naman mabait."
The actor is not denying that Meirelles sleeps in his condo but he also cleared that they are not living together.
"No, she goes there, I mean hindi na naman siguro ako high school, she goes there she sleeps there I'm not gonna deny that but we are not living together," he said.
Estrada said he met Meirelles in 2004 and then last year, 2007, they met in Greenbelt had a small talk and from then their romantic affair blossomed.
When asked if he is serious with his relationship with Meirelles, Estrada replied: "Alam niyo lahat naman ng relasyon ko ay seryoso wala naman akong hindi sineryosong relasyon it's just that na ganoon lang ang ending. Lahat naman ng babaeng naiinlove ako ay talagang it's part of it kung magkakasundo kayo 'yun ang target niyo always."
Estrada, who has kids with his former wife actress Janice de Belen is happy to share that Meirelles relationship with his children is almost perfect.
"She is really friends with my kids, that's why sobrang saya ko. Actually mas gusto nga yatang kasama siya ng anak ko kaysa sa akin tawag nila sa kanya ay 'ate' lang kasi bata pa si Priscilla, 24 lang siya."
Estrada said he is planning to meet Meirelles' parents next year.
Estrada is Cuneta's leading man on Star Cinema's "Caregiver" that will open in theaters nationwide this coming May 28, Wednesday.
