MANILA, Philippines -- Talent manager Annabelle Rama spoke up on Twitter after losing in her bid to become congressman of Cebu City's first district.

Rama thanked her supporters and said she learned a lot after campaigning in the past six months.

"Hi to all my Twitter followers. I'm back. I missed you all. It's been a 6-month journey. At wala akong pinagsisihan. It's a good experience, ang dami kung natutunan. Magpasalamat ako sa lahat ng mga supporters ko sa North district of Cebu City," Rama said.

Rama also offered her congratulations to her opponent, Raul del Mar.

"It's not the end of my political career. To my opponent, congratulations sa iyo. I'm happy nanalo si Mayor Mike (Rama).

Despite her loss, Rama vowed to return to politics.

I shall return. Di pa tapos ang aking adhikain. Serbisyo dili negosyo (Sevice not business)," she said.

The feisty talent manager, who is the mother of celebrity siblings Ruffa, Richard and Raymond Gutierrez and the wife of veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez, ran under the opposition United Nationalist Alliance.
