MANILA, Philippines -- Despite figuring in a bar brawl and getting hit by a bottle, young actor Albie Casiño is still sticking it out with the controversial world of show business.

“As of now, no,” Casiño said in an interview with and "Showbiz Inside Report" when asked if he is planning to quit the industry.

Despite all the controversies that have hounded him since he joined showbiz, Casiño said that he is still willing to try his luck in the entertainment industry.

“Let’s see. Nagustuhan ko siya eh. It’s fun, I like it sana naman," he said.

He also said he has no regrets of joining showbiz.

"I’d rather regret the things I did than regret not doing the things. Parang it’s an experience. At least na-experience ko siya so okay ako dun,” he said.

Asked of what he has learned from all the controversies involving him and former girlfriend Andi Eigenmann, Casiño replied: “For you to succeed in life, you have to be able to take the punches and just go keep going forward.”

Casiño and Eigenmann have been in the news after a bar brawl supposedly instigated by the young actress's friends led to a bitter word war between the two camps, including their mothers.

Casiño said he hopes that after all has been said and done, he will be able to return to his normal life.

“I don’t like it that every time I go out I have to check my back literally and figuratively. I don’t want my mom to be worried every time I go out," he said.

"Showbiz Inside Report" airs every Saturday 2:30 pm after "It’s Showtime."
