MANILA – “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” co-hosts Robi Domingo and John Prats shrugged off criticisms about the hit reality show, particularly its audition process.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News last Friday, Domingo said they welcome all comments and suggestions about the show -- whether negative or positive.

Mas lalong pinag-uusapan, mas lalong pinapanood,” he said.

Prats, however, admitted some of the show's staff were affected by the negative comments.

As former PBB housemates, both attested that nothing in the show is scripted.

“We are the last ones to know. Hindi namin alam kung anong mangyayari. Mismo 'yung kay Alex Gonzaga, iba 'yung nasa script namin. 'Yung reaction ni Toni (Gonzaga), that was genuine. Wala siyang idea na papasok 'yung kapatid niya,” Domingo said.

Some viewers speculated that Alex’s surprise announcement as a celebrity house guest two weeks ago was planned and that the hosts’ reactions during the pilot episode were all scripted.

Asked if rumors are true that more housemates are expected to enter the house in the upcoming days, Prats said, “Hindi pa namin alam pero exciting na kasi may nag-aaway na. Iba na sa loob.”

Last week, Toni also denied that "PBB" is scripted, saying the housemates definitely went through the regular audition process.

“Definitely nag-audition.

Toni even said such comments are not new to them anymore.

Pero I love the environment here sa ‘PBB’ because we welcome all of it. We welcome all of them. Lalo na ngayon, ‘All In.’ Okay lang sa amin lahat dito 'yun,” she said.

Gonzaga said what’s important is that Kapamilya viewers still continue to watch the show.
