MANILA – Celebrity sisters Toni and Alex Gonzaga were finally able to talk to each other again two weeks since the younger Gonzaga entered the “Pinoy Big Brother” (PBB) house as a celebrity house guest.
During the reality show’s first nomination night on Saturday, Toni talked to the housemates before she revealed to them who will be up for elimination this week.
She first talked to 26-year-old seaman Ranty Fortento asking him how it is to be the oldest in the group.
Toni then said she would next talk to the housemate whose goal in entering the house was to find maturity. “Alex, kamusta ka diyan?” she asked.
Alex then responded in jest: “Hi sis. Okay naman ako dito. Nami-miss ko 'yung mga tao sa labas, lalo ka na. Okay naman ako dito. Masaya ako na wala kayo dito.”
Toni then asked her sister how she’s adjusting since both of them are used to having just each other at their own home.
Again, Alex responded in jest saying she would rather not say a word until the live nomination night is over.
The topic of the conversation eventually switched to the misunderstanding between Alex and her fellow housemate Axel Torres over their limited budget last week due to the group's failed weekly task.
Alex said they were able to settle the matter well, which, she assumed, made her sister proud.
“Oo [nagkatampuhan] pero siyempre nangibabaw pa rin ang pagmamahalan at ang respeto sa isa’t isa. Tumaguyod ang wisdom at maturity. Nakita na. Alam mo 'yun. Nakita mo. Proud ka?” she said.
“Hindi ko sasabihin kung proud ako sa 'yo or hindi,” Toni replied.
During last week’s live episode, Toni was prohibited from talking to Alex as per Kuya’s instructions.
This was followed by Toni's post on Twitter saying this has been the longest time that she and her sister have not spoken to each other. She also wished for Alex to come out of the big yellow house soon so they spend time together again.
While Alex is only a house guest, there have been an announcements as to when she will leave the "PBB" house.
