MANILA -- Children love handing out surprises on Mother's Day, whether it be handwritten letters, homemade gifts, or an attempt at the kitchen.
However, Nathan, son of actress Camille Prats, decided to up the ante by having his surprise Mother's Day card printed on a national newspaper on Sunday.
“I want to make Mommy happy!“ Nathan, who is Prats' son with late husband Anthony Linsangan, said.
The 6-year-old had some of the most important people in Prats' life sign the card with their messages for his mother. Among those who did were his grandparents, actor John Prats and his longtime girlfriend Isabel Oli, and sister Mimi.
“Nathan loves surprising his Mom - kahit nga walang occasion," John said, adding that last year, Nathan gave his mother flowers during a surprise visit on her talk show.
Nathan, for the project, tapped the help of milk brand Bonakid Pre-School, which he is an endorser of.
“When we found out that Nathan wanted to surprise his mom, we wanted to help him make it as special as we could,” Aubrey Inigo, senior product manager of Bonakid Pre-School, said.
