MANILA - Comedian Vice Ganda recently confirmed that he is single, following a series of cryptic posts hinting that all is not well with his relationship.
In an interview with entertainment website Push.com, the "It's Showtime" co-host admitted that he is "happy and single" despite the fallout.
"Okay lang, hindi pa siguro sa akin nagsi-sink in. Parang shocked pa, hindi pa nga ako masyadong umiiyak," he said in the report.
Asked about his series of tweets, Vice Ganda said: "Ano ba ang sinabi ko dun? Basta 'yun lang, I will be okay. I am single and I am okay. Gusto ko din malaman nila na I am single para yung mga gustong manligaw sa akin manligaw na. Inviting?"
The comedian then explained that he will not be going through the usual "grieving stage," saying that he has been in the same situation before.
"Hindi kasi nakita ko na rin ito, naramdaman ko na, napaghandaan ko na. Siyempre hurting, I am not perfectly fine but I am okay," he said.
Instead, Vice Ganda said that he will take this opportunity to lend more time for himself, adding that he just wants to "enjoy" life after the split.
"I want to enjoy my life ngayon pa na ang sarap-sarap i-enjoy ng buhay dapat i-enjoy lang," he said.
