Zanjoe Marudo in "Bromance: My Brother's Romance"

MANILA – Hunk actor Zanjoe Marudo will expose his butt in his latest comedy flick "Bromance: My Brother's Romance", the movie's director said.

Wenn Deramas, also the director behind box office hits "The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin", "This Guy's In Love With U Mare!" and "Sisterakas", said moviegoers have one more reason to see Marudo's film because of the latter's butt exposure.

Deramas commended Marudo's dedication in his craft, saying the actor had no qualms about showing his butt in his first lead role in a movie.

Wala talagang kaarte-arte," Deramas told Push.told.com.ph.

Marudo, meanwhile, said he is happy with how the film turned out, even as he said that he does not want to be too confident with his performance in the movie.

In the film, Marudo plays the role of identical twins Brando - a tough-talking, macho guy, and Brandy - a flamboyant gay.

Marudo also shared that he is glad with the positive feedback that his colleagues on the set with his acting.

Masaya sila para sa akin at nagtitiwala sila," he said.

"Bromance" is not the first movie where Marudo played a gay role. In the Star Cinema movie "24/7 In Love", Marudo played the role of a gay man who had a "one-night stand" with a woman.

"Bromance" is the first crack at the comedy genre of Skylight films, the "indie" arm of Star Cinema. It is showing in theaters on May 15.
