MANILA - The judges of "Pilipinas Got Talent" could not help but fawn over the semi-finals performance of Francis Anne Virtudazo, a 36-year-old opera singer from Quezon City.
On Saturday, Virtudazo sang a powerful rendition of Wency Cornejo's hit song "Hanggang." It earned praise from the competition's judges, composed of Vice Ganda, Angel Locsin, Robin Padilla, and Freddie Garcia.
And one of the reasons why you are here is because you are one of the best," Garcia told Virtudazo.
Pero dahil nakaka-relate iyang kanta mo, kahit classical music, naabot nila at na-appreciate nila," the comedian furthered.
Virtudazo was one of the four hopefuls from the third batch of semi-finalists of the talent competition. The others who performed during Saturday's episode were semi-finalists Matti, dance pair Power Duo, and musical trio The Raes.
Hosted by Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford, "Pilipinas Got Talent" airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and Sundays after "Wansapanataym."
