Sneak peek: Anne Curtis in Hollywood film
Anne Curtis in a scene from 'Blood Ransom.' Tectonic Films/Video grab
MANILA - A preview of the Hollywood film starring ABS-CBN star Anne Curtis, which she shot in mid-2012, has finally been released.
Producer Tectonic Films released early this week a one-minute clip from a scene in "Blood Ransom," which was directed by Filipino-American Francis dela Torre.
Dela Torre also helmed the 2011 American film "Subject: I Love You," which won lead star Jericho Rosales a top acting prize in that year's Newport Beach Film Festival.
The preview clip for "Blood Ransom" shows Curtis as Crystal with co-star Alexander Doetsch, whose character, Jeremiah, appears to be in disbelief that she is still alive.
No details about the film's story have been released, although earlier promotional images showed Crystal appearing to hold Jeremiah hostage, with her sharp fingernails pressed against his bare chest.
A release date for "Blood Ransom" has yet to be announced.
It was originally slated to premiere sometime in 2013, with Curtis expressing hopes of a special Philippine run as it was her first film project outside the country.
