MANILA -- Teen heartthrob Daniel Padilla, who is gearing up for his second major concert, "Dos," at the Araneta Coliseum on April 30, shrugged off criticisms about his singing.
"Kung hindi sila nagagalingan sa akin, okay lang," Padilla said in an interview with "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" on Monday.
The "Nasa 'Yo na ang Lahat" hitmaker said what's more important is the enjoyment of his fans.
"Bakit ko sila papansinin?" he said of his critics.
Padilla, who also has two hit albums, revealed that he will be performing with his idol Rico Blanco in his upcoming concert.
"Excited kasi unang-una idol ko po siya dati pa. Pero nung nag-rehearsal kami, ang hirap kumanta. Hindi naman po ako nakikipagsabayan ...ako lang talaga kanta-kanta lang," Padilla said.
Aside from Blanco, Padilla will also be joined by Toni Gonzaga, Richard Yap, the Reo Brothers from Tacloban, the Parking 5 band, Khalil Ramos and love-team partner Kathryn Bernardo.
After the concert, Padilla will continue shooting the movie "She's Dating The Gangster" with Bernardo.
