MANILA, Philippines – Box Office King Vic Sotto only has good wishes for all the people around him as he celebrated his 57th birthday on Thursday.
In an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Sotto said he has been incredibly blessed and the only thing that he wants to do right now is to give back.
“Hindi puwedeng tanggap ka lang ng tanggap. I’ve been blessed with so many good things in life. Sa araw-araw na pagdadasal ko, ang aking pinagdadasal parati ay ang aking kapwa, aking mga anak, aking pamilya, aking mga kaibigan, ang ating bayan at higit sa lahat world peace,” he said.
Sotto added that it doesn’t matter if he does not have a special someone because he already feels loved with all the support he’s getting from his fans.
“Love life, I have no complaints. Marami ang nagmamahal sa akin. It doesn’t really matter kung sino ang love life mo. For me pag sinabing love life, iyan na ang anak mo, iyan na ang pamilya mo, kaibigan mo, ang mga nae-entertain mo, mga napapatawa mo, napapaiyak mo. ‘Yon na ‘yon as a whole,” Sotto said.
In his TV show early Thursday, Sotto was surprised by young stars Zaijan Jaranilla and Xyriel Manabat. Both of them are Sotto’s co-stars in “Pak! Pak! My Dr. Kwak!”
“I was so happy. I was not expecting na darating sila ngayon to greet me happy birthday. Nakitambay sila dito tapos naglaro kami,” he said.
