MANILA – Despite being busy with his showbiz commitments, education remains a top priority for teen singer Darren Espanto.
As a result, Espanto was able to get several medals during his moving up ceremony at the Eton International School, which his father proudly shared on social media.
According to Espanto’s dad, “this is by far the peerless” among all of the young singer’s achievements.
“Don’t ever stop pursuing knowledge for this will be your passport to success. Always remember that you are smarter than you think, stronger than you believe and loved more than you'll ever know,” Espanto’s father wrote.
Espanto, for his part, thanked all his friends and teachers at school.
“It may be my last year here but it definitely won't be my last visit. Thank you for the memories, the new friends, and thank you to all the teachers for helping me continue my education despite of my schedule,” he said.
Espanto started his showbiz career after he finished runner-up in the first season of “The Voice Kids.”
