MANILA, Philippines – ABS-CBN current affairs program “Krusada” will air on Thursday its documentary that bagged a bronze medal at the New York Festivals International TV and Film Awards 2012.
Abner Mercado’s “Laya,” which features inmates at the Correctional Institution for Women, will be aired twice on April 26 – at 9:15 p.m. on dzMM Teleradyo, and after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN.
Mercado dedicated the award to all “those prisoners who are still longing, wanting and dreaming for their freedom.”
Earlier, Ging Reyes, head of ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs, described what “Krusada” stands for.
Reyes and Mercado recently accepted the documentary’s bronze medal at the awarding ceremony held in Las Vegas.
