MANILA -- The long wait is over for Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzalez, who will again host the latest season of the hit reality show "Pinoy Big Brother," which starts on Sunday.

Almost two years since cosplayer Myrtle Sarrosa was named big winner of the fourth teen edition of "Pinoy Big Brother" in July 2012, the most famous house on Philippine TV will once again open its doors to a new batch of hopefuls.

"Ang tagal na nawala, almost a year and a half. Naging busy kami sa kanya-kanyang buhay namin; na-engaged na si Bianca. Parang sabi namin bago sana magpakasal si Bianca ay magbukas ang bahay ni Kuya. Ito ang last season ni Bianca na single siya, so this is pivotal for her," Gonzaga said during the press conference for the TV show on Wednesday.

Last March, Gonzalez became engaged to her boyfriend, PBA player JC Intal, after a very public marriage proposal at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

For her part, Gonzalez, whose career got a big boost after she placed third in the very first celebrity edition of the reality show in 2006, said she's just happy to be part again of the show that changed her life.

"For all of us, si Toni bilang host and kaming tatlo (Robi Domingo and John Prats) bilang (dating) housemates, ibang klase 'yung pagka-special ng 'PBB' sa amin. Na-build si Toni bilang host; kami ni John bumalik sa TV work; si Robi dito na-discover. So every time magkakaroon ng season ay napaka-special ng feeling na maging part ng show na nagbago ng buhay naming lahat," she said.

Prats and Domingo are also looking forward to the new season.

"'Yung kaba kapag may nomination at eviction 'yun 'yung nakaka-miss," said Prats, who was Gonzalez's co-contestant on "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 1."

"Ako it feels like I'm going back home kasi ang sarap lang bumalik sa bahay ni Kuya," said Domingo, who was the runner-up to Ejay Falcon on the second teen edition of "PBB."

"Nung una akala ko out of place ako. You got the great Toni Gonzaga, you got Bianca Gonzalez and John Prats eh after sometime nag-gel ang relationship at masasabi ko na I'm part of this family kaya happy ako dito," he said.

Hosting "PBB" for the first time is Gonzaga's younger sister, Alex.

"Na-surprised talaga ako dahil favorite ko 'yung 'Uber.' Noon pa ay nanonood ako, fan ako ng 'PBB.' So 'yung maging part ako ng 'Uber,' I'm really, really happy. Tapos kasama ko pa sila Bianca, John, Robi at the great Toni," she said.

But the hosts stressed that what makes the new season truly special is the combination of the new housemates.

"That's why we call it 'PBB All In' in kasi magkasama ang adults at teens. First time in the world, sa lahat ng Big Brother, magsasama ang adult at teenagers sa loob ng bhay ni Kuya. Medyo interesting kasi 'yung age gap from 15 to 30, doon naglalaro. So ganun kalaki 'yung range ng age," explained Prats.

According to Gonzaga, 15 new housemates will enter the Big Brother house this coming Sunday.

"Sa pagkakaalam namin ay may 15 housemates pero that can still change til Sunday," said Gonzaga, who will still be the main host of the show.
