MANILA - "The Legal Wife" once again zoomed up as the No.1 topic on Twitter worldwide, as the drama series reached a climactic scene dubbed "the moment of truth."

In the soap's April 24 episode, Monica (Angel Locsin) is left devastated by her discovery that her husband, Adrian (Jericho Rosales), is having an affair with her best friend, Nicole (Maja Salvador).

Monica's anguish turns to rage when she sees the two emerging together from a hotel. She speeds up car in their direction, missing them by mere inches.

A distraught Adrian follows his wife home in an attempt to salvage their relationship, but Monica, reeling from her discovery, will have none of her husband's pleadings.
