MANILA – The dream car of Angel Locsin is up for grabs at a special ABS-CBN auction.

The Kapamilya actress is giving up her vintage 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle to help raise funds and fuel dreams of a better future for typhoon Yolanda survivors.

Locsin has authorized Sagip Kapamilya to publicly auction her muscle car and appealed to motoring enthusiasts to support her cause.

When asked why she decided to donate her dream car to charity, Angel said she felt bad owning such a luxurious car knowing that many people are still suffering from the onslaught of the super typhoon.

Sagip Kapamilya program head Jun Dungo said the car is available for auction until April 30.

“Angel really loved this muscle car. She had acquired it from San Francisco, California and she had it shipped here. She saw the victims of typhoon Yolanda and she donated her Chevelle for the love of our kababayans and kapamilyas,” Dungo said.

Dungo added Sagip Kapamilya is expecting a bid of at least P3 million for the car.

“Ang maganda kasi rito, nakapag-donate ka na, nakatulong ka na, at the same time, meron kang isang magandang muscle car,” he said.
