MANILA – Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzalez are happy to be reunited as co-hosts two years after the last edition of the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother” (PBB).
On Tuesday, more than 11,000 trooped to the Araneta Coliseum for the last audition day for the new season of PBB.
Both Gonzaga and Gonzalez were present during the audition process and they shared what they thought of the auditionees who all aspire to make it big one day.
As for Gonzalez, she noted how each auditionee strives hard to stand out among the sea of PBB housemate hopefuls.
“Siguro yung common factor nila, lahat gusto sumali para sa pamilya, lahat may gustong i-prove. Ang hirap nga naman to stand out from 11,000 plus na nandito today considering na lahat kayo, yun ang gusto niyo. Mahirap itong araw na to,” she said.
ABS-CBN TV productions head Lauren Dyogi said they have successfully shortlisted about 15 people who may become future housemates of Big Brother.
In total, 44,000 people from across the world have auditioned since last year.
“We are not choosing based on talent. We are choosing based on personality. I need to find somebody who is real and who can be real inside the house,” he said.
Gonzaga and Gonzalez both said the new season of PBB will feature exciting twists never before seen in previous seasons.
The new season of PBB will premiere this April 27.
