MANILA -- Actor Ejay Falcon described his short-lived relationshipwith Queenie Padilla, the daughter of his idol Robin Padilla, as "complicated."
Appearing on the Thursday episode of "Kris TV," Falcon opened up about his relationship with Queenie, which lasted only four months.
"Ang hirap kasi ng situation parang napaka-complicated," explained Falcon, who is a member of Iglesia Ni Cristo, while Queenie is a Muslim.
The "Dugong Buhay" star said they broke up when Queenie suddently decided to go to Australia.
"Bigla na lang nawala, pumunta doon, tapos hindi na kami nakapag-usap talaga. Feeling ko 'yun nga 'yung pagiging INC ko. tapos siya, hindi naman niya kaya i-give up 'yung religion niya. Pag-usapan natin ito off-cam," Falcon asked host Kris Aquino.
The two first worked together in “Tum: My Pledge of Love,” a Bollywood-style movie directed and starred in by Padilla and his wife, TV host-actress Mariel Rodriguez.
They were also co-stars in the television series “Momay.”
After his breakup with Queenie, Falcon said it took him two years before falling in love again.
Last year, he entered into a relationship with actress Yam Concepcion, his "Dugong Buhay" leading lady, although this too did not last long.
Falcon said their lack of time is one of the reasons behind the separation with Concepcion.
