MANILA, Philippines – Former “Pinoy Big Brother” (PBB) celebrity housemate John Prats is set to take on his role as the newest host of the ground-breaking reality show for its fourth Teen Edition.
Having spent 56 days in the famous yellow house himself, Prats gave advice to the next batch of housemates.
With a “Big Placer” title under his belt for coming in second in PBB’s first Celebrity Edition, Prats is looking forward to turning tables as he begins hosting duties for the show on Sunday.
“Well it’s better, the feeling na ikaw naman ngayon ‘yung nanonood sa kanila, you get to comment on what they’re doing and masaya lang siya,” Prats told Push.com.ph. “To be the host of ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ ang magtatawid sa mga viewers sa nangyayari sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya and then the audience.”
Noting the “teen” tag after the show’s title, Prats said he expects the goings-on in the house to be “light” and “fun,” but added that it won’t always be all-smiles as personalities will eventually clash.
“When you enter ‘Pinoy Big Brother,’ dapat totoo ka. Kasi kung nagpaka-plastic ka sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya at nanalo ka, para sa puso mo hindi ka panalo kasi hindi naman ikaw ‘yun. Hindi ikaw ‘yung minahal ng tao, nag-portray ka lang ng ibang pagkatao,” he said.
Prats will join in welcoming the latest batch teen housemates on April 8, Easter Sunday, as the show declares Day 1 of “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Season 4.”
