MANILA, Philippines – Action star Robin Padilla admitted he got an offer to transfer to TV5, but he chose to stay with ABS-CBN since he's happy with the projects that he's been working on for the Kapamilya network.
Asked if his wife Mariel Rodriguez being with TV5 was a factor in considering his transfer, Padilla said they already spend enough time together at home.
Padilla said he is particularly thankful for being part of a new TV series of the Kapamilya network.
“Lalo na ngayon pinaramdam sa akin ng ABS ang pinakamalaki nilang [proyekto],” he said.
Padilla is part of the new teleserye “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw,” where he will co-star with Queen of All Media Kris Aquino and “It’s Showtime” host Anne Curtis.
The series will also feature actors Tirso Cruz III, Ian Veneracion, Emilio Garcia, and child star Xyriel Manabat.
Asked about the new project, Padilla said, “Kung ganito pa rin kasaya, bakit naman ako lilipat?”
