MANILA, Philippines – Having had her share of heartaches as a celebrity, actress Andi Eigenmann is hesitant to allow her baby girl Adrianna Gabrielle to shoulder the Eigenmann legacy in Philippine showbiz.

Revealing plans of doing magazine covers together, Eigenmann said baby Ellie enjoys being in front of the camera, but the “Agua Bendita” star added she doesn’t want her daughter to follow in her footsteps as an actress.

“’Yung pinaka-nakakatakot but at the same time maganda is that she loves the camera, she loves people. Gustung-gusto niya, nag-pictorial na kami. We have magazine covers coming out soon,” Eigenmann said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

“Sobrang nakakatuwa how Ellie’s just so used to it. Ellie can be a supermodel, but she’s not going to go into showbiz. Para sa ’kin personally, ayoko sana, kasi this is a tough industry.”

At the moment, however, Eigenmann continues to enjoy her time with her daughter, who describes as a “happy baby.”

“She’s four months old, sobrang kulit na niya. Nakakatuwa kasi sobrang happy baby siya, tawa siya nang tawa. Sobra niyang masayahin na bata, angdali-dali niya patawanin,” she shared.

After her maternity break from show business, Eigenmann is set to do a comeback TV series with ABS-CBN, where she will be paired with actor Jake Cuenca. -- Report from Marie Lozano, ABS-CBN News
