ABS-CBN continues to lead both TV, online viewership

MANILA -- Apart from their unbeaten high TV ratings, ABS-CBN's online shows also conquer the Internet through video-on-demand and live streaming website iWanTV.

The website earned a total of 34.42 million views for March. The most viewed programs are “Dolce Amore” with 6.89 million page views, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” with 5.2 million page views, and “Be My Lady” with 2.11 million views.

While ABS-CBN shows perform well online, they also continue to top TV viewership.

According to the data released by Kantar Media, the Kapamilya network garnered an average audience share of 44% from combined urban and rural homes in March, while its closest rival GMA-7 got 35%.

“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” and “Dolce Amore” continue to top the list of most watched primetime programs with 41.2% and 34.5%, respectively.

Newly launched programs “The Story of Us” and “We Will Survive” also topped their respective time slots with 18.8% and 15.2%.

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN's weekend shows are also outperforming their rivals in the ratings game.

“Pilipinas Got Talent” has kept its spot as the most watched weekend show with 35%, while “Maalaala Mo Kaya,” “Wansapanataym,” “Home Sweetie Home,” and “Rated K” have earned 32.9%, 29.5%, 24.3%, and 23.7%, respectively.

Kantar Media uses a nationwide panel size of 2,610 urban and rural homes, which represent 100% of the total Philippine TV viewing population.

ABS-CBN earlier announced that a 25% surge on its net income for 2015, which amounts to P2.55 billion. Its revenue, on the other hand, totaled P38.28 billion from P33.5 billion in 2014.
