MANILA -- Host-actress Kris Aquino is happy that former best friends Maja Salvador and Kim Chiu have reportedly reconciled.

On Tuesday evening's "Aquino & Abunda Tonight", Aquino noted that Chiu just wants to have peace in her life, especially since her birthday -- she turns 24 on April 19 -- is fast approaching.

"I think when you are celebrating your birthday you want to be at peace with the world. So I think hindi ba kung nag-approach si Maj, tinanggap ni Kimmy and siguro Kim is in a very good place in her life kaya okay na everybody deserves happiness," Aquino said.

"Siguro kung maligaya ka na sa love life mo, okay na sa iyo na 'yung ex mo ay maging din, naman," Aquino added.

On Monday, entertainment writer Ogie Diaz revealed on Twitter that Chiu and Salvador have already reconciled.

Aquino's co-host Boy Abunda for his part praised the two young actresses for being honest.

"What I admire most about Maja and Kim 'di sila nag-pretend na magkaibigan nung panahong hindi. They are very honest and then nang dumating ang panahon ito ay hindi pilit. It takes a lot of humility, a lot of love tama nga to forgive is divine, a lot of divinity," Abunda said.

Diaz also tweeted that Anderson and Chiu, who were previously involved in a romantic relationship but broke up in 2010, also got their chance to talk.

A year ago, Chiu made headlines when she admitted that her rift with Salvador, following reports that "The Legal Wife" star was dating Anderson.
