MANILA - Sarah Geronimo delighted her audience during a recent mall show when she sang the Oscar-winning song "Let It Go," which has become a huge hit and a cover favorite among music fans.
The 25-year-old pop star performed the version popularized by Demi Lovato, which was released last year to coincide with premiere of Disney's "Frozen."
In the animated film, Broadway star Idina Menzel performs the now-iconic song about freedom as her character, Queen Elsa.
A video of Geronimo's performance of "Let It Go," which was part of her mini-concert at Fairview Terraces in Quezon City, was uploaded online Wednesday by Viva Entertainment.
Earlier in February, a video of Regine Velasquez singing the hit at her concert also went viral. It now has over 460,000 views.
At her recent show, Geronimo also promoted the upcoming "Kids" edition of ABS-CBN's "The Voice of the Philippines," where she will sit anew as coach alongside Lea Salonga and Bamboo Manalac.
