MANILA, Philippines - The King of Comedy Dolphy was back on television, months after speculations surfaced about his poor health condition.
In a video message aired on "Paparazzi" over the weekend, the veteran comedian, who looked like he gained weight, said he is currently doing better.
Dolphy admitted that he misses his fans and asked them not to worry.
Huwag kayong mag-alala. I'm OK, I love you all," he added.
In a recent interview, Dolphy's youngest daughter Zia Quizon also assured the public that her father is now doing better and that they are doing their best to keep the veteran actor healthy.
"He is doing well. It's just that obviously when you come to certain age my ups and downs ang health natin. But he is really well. He is at home relaxing naman,” Quizon said.
