MANILA - "Seryoso ka diyan?"
Anne Curtis was not in on the joke when "It's Showtime" co-host Vice Ganda announced during the noontime program's live episode on April 1 that he will go on leave for two months for a tour abroad.

In the show's opening minutes, Vice Ganda turned serious as he told the "madlang people" (audience members) about the "tour." Already, Curtis appeared surprised with the off-script moment, and even looked in the direction of director Bobet Vidanes.
"Bago ang lahat, gusto ko muna magpaalam sa madlang people," Vice Ganda said. "Meron po akong tour si Europe, kaya mawawala po muna ako, magpapaalam ako -- two months lang naman po ako mawawala."
Curtis interjected: "O.A. (over-acting)! Two months?!"
Vice Ganda, who just recently held shows in the United States, went on with his announcement, saying, "Magbabalik din naman po ako after two months... Sana hayaan niyo po muna ako makapag-abroad?"
No longer speaking through her microphone, Curtis then directly addressed Vice Ganda: "Seryoso ka ba diyan?"
The actress, who had just returned to "It's Showtime" after a week-long absence, only realized that she was the victim of an April Fools' Day joke when her co-hosts started laughing at her reaction.
Curtis has been busy with filming for the ongoing ABS-CBN series "Dyesebel," where she portrays the title role. On Tuesday, the actress also announced that the mermaid character will finally become an adult in the episode to be aired on the same night, marking her first appearance in the top-rating series.
