MANILA - "No issue here."
These were the words of Anne Curtis in addressing a report by a showbiz news website on Tuesday alleging that she confronted young actor Sam Concepcion, who is the rumored boyfriend of her younger sister, actress Jasmine.
Curtis took to Instagram to clarify that while she spoke with Concepcion during the birthday party of comedian Vice Ganda on Monday night, she did not "say any of those words written in the article."
"Of course I spoke to Sam that night and as always, I told him to take care of my baby sister like any ate would do," Curtis said in the caption of a photo showing her with Vice Ganda and Concepcion, among others, at the party held at an upscale bar in Makati City.
"BUT to clarify I DID NOT say any of those words written in the article. Kahit tanungin nyo pa si Sam. Even he doesn't know where those words came from. Basta. Ang mahalaga Sam and I are ok. End of story, no issue here," she added.
The report, which was published Tuesday evening on Philippine Entertainment Portal, cited a "source" who "got the details from a party guest at the celebration."
PEP quoted the source as saying that Curtis "drank at the party," and that the actress told Concepcion: "Why are you here? Who invited you? You are not classy enough to be here!"
Curtis, the report added, then allegedly asked Concepcion: "Ba't mo niloloko ang kapatid ko?"
The 29-year-old actress posted her statement about the allegations on Instagram about two hours after the report was published on PEP.
In December, Curtis similarly took to Twitter to issue a statement regarding another PEP report detailing her alleged drunken tirade at a bar in Taguig, which the "Dyesebel" star admitted and apologized for.
