Judy Ann Santos
MANILA – Judy Ann Santos denied that she is going through a rough patch, which was why she cut her hair short.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe, Santos said she just missed her old style and thought now is the right time to have a haircut.
“Mainit lang talaga and for a change lang again since it's summer. I'm not doing anything now, walang movie or teleserye. Sinasamantala ko lang 'yung time na pwede akong magpagupit nang magpagupit nang magpagupit hanggang sa kalma na ako na ito na 'yung look na gusto ko,” she said.
Santos said she needed to have a “wash and wear” look because of the things which she has to attend to.
“Kasi with so many things na ginagawa ko ngayon, kailangan ko talaga ng wash and wear look. Look ko na ito nung 10 years ago, binalikan ko lang kasi na-miss namin ang isa't isa,” she said.
Meanwhile, Santos said she continues to remain grateful to ABS-CBN for giving her opportunities to explore new skills.
“Every time ABS-CBN would give me a hosting job, they never fail na pakabahin ako, hindi ako patulugin. Iba kasi 'yung confidence ko sa drama and sa hosting. I was never a host. Hindi naman ako madaldal na tao. Hindi ko alam paano makipag-converse sa tao na may camera. Sanay ako na ako 'yung kinakausap,” she said.
While it is not her forte, Santis said she will not think twice if the Kapamilya network gives her another hosting job.
“Siguro challenge na din ni Lord sa akin ito. How can I push myself further? And maiba naman din kasi madami talaga kami ngayon sa industriya. Madaming magaganda, mga sexy. You have to think of ways kung paano ka magla-last sa industry na ito,” she said.
While she is still hosting the hit game show "Bet On Your Baby," Santos has already been tapped to host ABS-CBN’s biggest and newest reality show "I Do."
In "I Do," which will air in the last quarter of the year, nine couples will live in a Cavite village. The winning pair will get the wedding of their dreams, as well as a house and lot and a car, the host-actress said.
