MANILA - Host actress Kris Aquino and son James "Bimby" Yap on Saturday took pictures of their afternoon together with the lead stars of the upcoming Hollywood film "The Amazing Spider-Man 2."
Aquino, who is currently in Singapore, interviewed the cast members of the much-awaited summer movie for her shows "Kris TV" and "Aquino & Abunda Tonight."
On photo-sharing site Instagram, Aquino shared several photos taken with actors Andrew Garfield, Jamie Foxx, and movie director Marc Webb, with the caption: "Thank you Columbia Pictures Philippines for this memorable experience!"
She also took time to thank and heap praises on Garfield, which she described as the "sweetest, kindest and most genuinely charismatic star," for granting her son's birthday wish.
Bimby, who will celebrate his 7th birthday next month, got a hug from Garfield, who plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the movie.
The cast of "Amazing Spider-Man 2" led by Garfield, Foxx, and Emma Stone are in Singapore to kick off this year's Earth Hour.
Spearheaded by the World Wide Fund for Nature Singapore and Earth Hour Global, the three stars will be in Singapore's Marina Bay to celebrate the world's largest environmental grassroots movement on March 29.
Set to hit theaters this summer, "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" is based on the iconic comic book character originally written by Steve Ditko and Stan Lee and published by Marvel Comics.
In the sequel, Peter Parker faces a trio of supervillains, namely Electro (Foxx), Rhino (Paul Giamatti) and the Green Goblin (David de Haan).
"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" is scheduled to hit theaters in the Philippines on April 30.
